This policy explains the information WondersTech may process when you use this website, request support, license WondersTech software, or enable optional online services.

Local POS data

WondersTech POS is designed to operate offline-first. Sales, products, users, inventory, expenses, customers, and related business records are stored on the client installation unless the business deliberately exports, backs up, restores, or enables an online service.

Optional encrypted cloud backups

When cloud backup is enabled, the POS prepares an encrypted backup package before upload. WondersTech Cloud may store the encrypted package together with operational metadata such as Business ID, installation or device ID, application version, backup size, checksum, creation time, upload time, and retention status. WondersTech cannot guarantee recovery when the customer loses the backup password used to encrypt the package.

Licensing, devices, and updates

Licensing and update services may process Business ID, device identity, license status, application version, update channel, last-seen time, and security events needed to register an installation, prevent misuse, deliver compatible updates, and diagnose failed update attempts.

Support information

When you contact support, WondersTech may process the details you provide, including screenshots, crash logs, diagnostic packages, contact information, and descriptions of the issue. Support packages should be generated using the product's sanitized diagnostic tools whenever available.

Website and security logs

Hosting and security providers may process standard request information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, timestamp, and security signals required to deliver and protect the website and services.

How information is used

Information may be used to provide products and support, administer licensing, deliver updates, operate encrypted backup services, prevent abuse, investigate incidents, and improve reliability.

Sharing and sale of information

WondersTech does not sell customer business data. Information may be processed by infrastructure providers only as needed to host, secure, store, or deliver the relevant service, or when required by applicable law.

Retention and deletion

Retention depends on the service, active license, backup policy, legal obligations, and security requirements. A business may contact WondersTech to request information about its registered devices or cloud-backup records. Deleting an encrypted cloud backup cannot be undone.

Security

WondersTech uses controls such as encrypted backup packages, device credentials, signed releases, restricted support recovery, access logging, and integrity verification. No system is risk-free, so customers should also protect administrator credentials, backup passwords, private devices, and local backup media.
